Ronda Thomas
Founder, CEO
Ronda Thomas founded The Exordium Group early in the IT revolution to address the sponsorship needs of the technology industry. She expanded her disciplined strategic approach to include global brands in medical, biotech, telecom, and financial services.
For over twenty years, Ronda has been a pioneer in the development of technical integration into sports, music and entertainment. She brings a deep understanding of the unique role technology plays in the sponsorship ecosystem and as trusted advisor to global brands she has an unparalleled strategic perspective across the developing technology landscape. Ronda’s sponsorship and technology expertise has advised clients such as Oracle, TIBCO, Intel, Microsoft, BT, Ericsson, Cardinal Health, CSC, and Medtronic, and rights holders such as the International Olympic Committee, NFL, Pebble Beach, National Thoroughbred Horse Racing Association, the Cannes Film Festival and many others. As a music lover, Ronda has had the pleasure of working with musicians such as Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Walk the Moon, Bare Naked Ladies, James Taylor, Chick Corea, Jamie Cullum, Blues Traveler, and many, many more.
Ronda has led The Exordium Group with the philosophy of doing well by doing good. She recommends cause ties whenever appropriate for client activations and supports non-profit organizations on a pro bono basis as clients.
Ronda is a professional speaker and author on sponsorship and technology internationally. She has led standing-room-only sessions in England, Germany, Switzerland and the US. A graduate of the University of Utah, Ronda holds a BS in Political Science with an emphasis in Speech Communications. Ronda is an avid skier, cyclist, and traveler and the proud mother of two.
Susan Goldsmith
Sponsorship Strategy and Implementation
Susan Goldsmith is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in the Olympic and global sports marketing industry. She has worked with brands, properties, and start-up businesses to leverage the power of sport and its values to create mutually beneficial value.
Susan has been deeply involved in all aspects of Olympic marketing across 12 Olympic Games including work with SLOC, NGBs and sponsors internationally. Building on her eight years with the US Ski Team, Susan led Partnership Marketing for the US Olympic Committee and is known for her innovative work creating a collaborative retail approach across CPG brands including P&G, Coke, Kelloggs, Budweiser and Bimbo Bakeries amongst others.
Susan was instrumental in the development of the P&G “Thank You Mom” campaign, creating innovative, collective marketing programming that delivered dramatic results. Susan understood the importance of measurable results in partnerships and focused on solutions, creativity, and engagement. Her talents from the USOC leveraged in the inaugural year of Major League Rugby’s Utah Warriors. Directing the commercial efforts including, sponsorship, event and entertainment marketing, as well as games operations, and game-day programming, Susan produced positive results. She continues to work with non-profits in revenue generation and strategic program development; while also working on innovative promotional programs combining media, retail, and consumer packaged goods.
A graduate of Scripps College with a BA in American Studies along with a certificate degree from Kellogg School of Management in Non-Profit Leadership. Susan lives in Park City Utah with her husband and daughter, enjoying the mountain lifestyle.
Jennifer Holden
Executive Producer, Athlete Management
Jenny Holden joins The Exordium Group with a diverse professional background in sports. A University of Vermont graduate and competitive nordic skier in college she moved to Utah to join the Salt Lake Organizing Committee as a sport manager for Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping. Immediately following the 2002 Olympic Games she joined the US Ski Team as the Men’s Alpine Team manager. From there, Jenny moved to support Bode Miller as his Executive Assistant and Team Manager of Team America, independent of the US Ski Team.
Jenny joined Ego Sports Management/Wasserman Media Group representing Olympic athletes while also leading the US Women’s Ski Jumping Team as executive director. With Ronda, one of the founding board members of WSJUSA, together they lead the successful charge to advocate for women competing for the first time in the Olympics in Sochi 2014.
She has initiated and managed sponsorship and athlete endorsement deals with brands like NIKE, BP, USG, Dicks Sporting Goods as well as worked closely with multiple international Olympic organizations on all aspect of athlete and team activation.
Jenny continued representing athletes starting her own business, Holden Sports Management, with an emphasis of working with athletes involved in social causes. This encompassed a broad spectrum of athletes, from paralympians likeAlana Nichols, Elexis Gillette and Trumatic Brain Injury survivor Kevin Pearce, producer of The Crash Reel.
Jenny has a passion for contributing to positive social change by volunteering and participating as a board member supporting Global Grassroots, a non-profit organization that supports Conscious Social Change for women and girls in post-conflict countries.
She is currently raising her 5 year old daughter.
Signe Jordet
Executive Producer
Signe Jordet has nearly two decades of management, marketing and sport experience. She applies broad business knowledge to evaluating and meeting client needs, working with finesse to build new programs and community, start to finish.
Before collaborating with The Exordium Group, Signe worked with internationally recognized sport organizations such as the American Hockey League, X Games, Asian Football Confederation, USA Nordic, and the St. Paul Saints. She has built and grown organizations, organized and successfully executed events across industries, and interacted positively with athletes at every level in many sports.
Signe is a progressive, resilient, intuitive critical thinker who enjoys people and communicates well with customers, executives, and investors worldwide. She has a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from Springfield College.
Cindy Sisson
Strategic Marketing and Sponsorship
Cindy Sisson is a renowned business, sales and marketing executive who has enjoyed a distinguished career that has encompassed the world of Fortune 500 companies, professional sports, nonprofits, entrepreneurship, global events as well as successful public-private partnerships that help children of today be leaders of tomorrow. From creating award-winning strategic marketing initiatives to teaching organizations how to raise important funds for their various causes to sharing her passion in helping people live healthier, more active lives, Cindy continues to make a difference in the lives of people and the success of businesses.
She has served as a board member, senior advisor and director of development to the National Foundation on Fitness Sports and Nutrition, and led a multi-million-dollar fundraising campaign in support of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition’s newly launched Presidential Youth Fitness Program. She recently served as the Partnership Director for the Petersen Automotive Museum, deemed the number one automotive museum in the world, was co-founder of ConnectTIVITY, an agency that specializes in assisting nonprofits, schools and other organizations raise funds through creative fundraising solutions utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and extensive consumer engagement, and served as president of HOPSports, a global health and wellness network dedicated to fighting childhood obesity,
Cindy’s sports marketing expertise was built on many years with leading sports properties, brands and agencies, including the 1984 Olympics, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Gatorade and the founding of her own company Agency Won in 1994, a full-service sports marketing company that served a variety of sports, including the USPS Pro Cycling team and NASCAR. Cindy has negotiated pro-team contracts for the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR and major golf properties to create sideline exposure and retail marketing promotions.
Cindy is a graduate from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and the University of California at Los Angeles with a master’s degree in Kinesiology. She resides in Mooresville, N.C. with her son, Tafton.
Avery Horzewski
Communications & Social Media
Avery Horzewski is president of AVE Consulting, a marketing and customer communication consulting firm that helps companies of all sizes develop and refine their communication strategies. She has been an integral contributor to The Exordium Group for many years. Her projects run the gamut of communication vehicles, from print to Web to social. Representative clients include ACT Medical, Adobe Systems, Alan Biller & Associates, Aruba Networks, Borland, CareFusion, Cisco Systems, Cooley Godward, Coremetrics, DocuSign, E*Trade, Logitech, Netflix, NETGEAR, SAP, and Symantec.
Avery began her career as a marketing writer at Hitachi Data Systems, where she wrote everything from executive-level brochures to white papers, flyers, and gift and product catalogues. Before leaving to start AVE Consulting, she advanced to the position of director, Web content and design. In this role, she was responsible for the creative direction, overall site strategy, and managing day-to-day responsibilities of the corporate website. Since launching AVE, Avery has helped several organizations develop and execute on their social media strategy, including SAP Analytics, one of SAP’s longest-running and most successful product social channels.
Avery also regularly speaks about social media to groups interested in learning more about this medium, its impact on business, and best practices for implementing; and she also served as a social media program advisor and instructor at San Francisco State’s College of Extended Learning, where she taught “Social Media Campaigns” and “Social Media in the Real World: Bringing It All Together.”
Avery has a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Utah.
Renee Maler

As Co-Founder and Principal Managing Partner of Philosophy PR + Marketing, Renee Maler brings nearly 20 years of professional communications experience to her clients, including more than 15 years of consulting for high technology companies. Renee carries an exceptional track record of success – supporting existing teams as well as leading new efforts to deliver all aspects of Public Relations, Analyst Relations and Customer Reference Programs.
Renee’s Media and Analyst Relations work has taken companies from start-up to growth phases to acquisition or public offering. Her extensive customer outreach and strong analyst relationships have netted her clients consistent, positive coverage from tier-one media outlets and analyst firms. Renee’s strong relationship-building efforts have raised awareness of her clients as market share leaders – in some cases, even extremely early on in a company’s lifecycle.

Colleen Bloxham
Director of Hospitality
Colleen Bloxham has worked in the hospitality industry her entire career. A trained chef, she delights our customers with flavors, presentation and warmth.
Colleen manages all aspects of hospitality for our clients and calls upon her vast experience in design, food and beverage, and hospitality management to bring it all together. After experience in some of the finest restaurants in Seattle, Park City and Salt Lake City, Colleen opened her own catering company, catering to weddings, private events and corporate functions across the Pacific Northwest. She then moved to London to broaden her cullinary expertise before studying for a BFA at Ball State University.
Colleen now resides in foody heaven in the Hudson Valley in New York where she private chefs for celebrity clients, is Executive Director of Events and board member of historic Wilderstein as well as a board member for the Redhook Education Foundation. She also coordinates hospitality for the famous Sinterclaus and Halloween Parades.
Colleen is an advocate of farm to table and the proud mother of a college Freshman.
